Just a question.. I had thought that out-of-state

post-ops had to have surg on Wed. I know you and Trudy were on Friday. When

did you have clinic? And what days exactly are you in Durham, arrival to

departure???

Our surgeries were on Friday, 11-3. Ideally, you stay the week after

surgery. Our clinic was Thursday, the day before. Trudy doesn't have a

computer with her, so we'll have to wait and see when she gets home. I have

special circumstance. I am a nurse, my son is a surgical resident. I felt

that I was OK and knew that 7 hours from Durham I'd be in a major medical

center with a son who would not let anything happen to me. But other people

need to make their own decisions based on their own circumstances. Jil, who

is scheduled next Wed and who flies in next Monday for Tuesday clinic, will

stay in Durham til the following Tuesday night. Almost a whole week post-op.

So, different strokes for different folks. Jude

I was out-of-state too. My surgery was originally scheduled on Thursday but

I got bumped to Friday. We arrived in Durham on Monday, pre-op clinic on

Tuesday, surgery Friday, post-op clinic Tuesday, home Wednesday. In Durham

a total of 9 days.
