Guest guest
I have had 3 more episodes of hypoglycemia this weekend. I was not alone so I thought I would take the insulin. Although slightly less then what I was prescribed. Each time I dropped into the 60'-70- 's. I have nto heard back from the docs in Cicny and my endo doc here is OOT until next week. wrote me back and said the iselt must be kicking in but not what I should do about it. Maybe I should be on a sliding scale that checks my blood first. The way we do it in the hospital. I dont have those memorized though. I would think that dropping too low would be far more riskly then getting too high. I still dont eat that much since I am still recovering from the total and if I do eat too much I often will throw it up; just nature of the roux-en-y beast. So which is worse, a low reading or on that is too high; the highest I have been is 171 and that was post prandial. I will continue to chekc my sugars, I just dont know how much insulin to give, if any. any advice ya'll might have would be very appreciated. I hope everybody had a wonderful weekend and are feeling great. With all my love, Chrissy
