Guest guest
, Those type of anti-fungals work well right before bed on an empty stomach. You want them to break down yeast, not food. So yes, you may not be getting burning but that's because its breaking down food instead of yeast. I take Candizyme before bed, and then possibly because I am sleeping, I don't notice anything. Charlene <>< Hi folks, On the bottle of Candex, it says to take on an empty stomach and right before bed. Would it hurt to take them with meals? I realize they might not work as well, but I tolerate them much better and can tell they are making a difference even when I take them with food. If I take them on an empty stomach, I get lots of burning. Guest guest
Well, I evidently need them to break down food also, because I notice a difference in the way I'm digesting. Also, I do have some die off symptoms, mainly a lot of fatigue, brain fog, etc. when taking them. So that makes me suspect it's at least killing of SOME yeast....although maybe not as much as if I were taking them on an empty stomach. ~ > >Reply-To: pecanbread >To: <pecanbread > >Subject: Re: Candex >Date: Sat, 10 Mar 2007 20:48:58 -0500 > >, > >Those type of anti-fungals work well right before bed on an empty stomach. >You want them to break down yeast, not food. Guest guest
I have found Candex to be an amazing treatment for my son, but I had been warned by others on the Enzymes list that they only work on a completely empty stomach (even mixing it with a little juice or something would make it ineffective I was told). Therefore I have only given it to him the way the box recommends & it has been effective for him. I don't think it causes burning for him though, since he likes them so much, I have to hide them from him (he likes to chew them even though they are caps). - Coats wrote: Well, I evidently need them to break down food also, because I notice a difference in the way I'm digesting. Guest guest
What are the signs of yeast overgrowth? How would one know if they needed to use Candex ? If you want to give Web site links for me to do more research that would be great too. For example the links on Enzymes that were sent a few weeks ago were helpful - we are doing enzymes now. I'm thinking that Candex would be a good addition due to the junk he used to eat but do not want to add it if it is not necessary - some day I'll have to stop spending so much $$$ We are not working with a doctor - ins never covers anything we want to do anyway. Guest guest
, Do you take digestive enzymes? Perhaps you need to add them in. Guest guest
Well, so far, I've not been able to tolerate any except for the Candex. It's been a while though, so maybe i will try another brand. I believe I still have some Kirkman's still sitting around. I guess my question is: Can you take Candex to break down food too....or is it JUST for treating yeast? I was under the impression that enzymes are enzymes. They all help break down food. ~ > >Reply-To: pecanbread >To: <pecanbread > >Subject: Re: Candex >Date: Sun, 11 Mar 2007 12:01:16 -0400 > >, >Do you take digestive enzymes?
