DOC Band Graduate!!

My son just graduated yesterday from his DOC band. He gained 15mm total front to

back and is now 13 mm more then side to side. Considering his age of 11.5 mths

at graduation, his PT is very impressed and so are we!! Im so happy we made the

decision, although insurance didn't pay for it I think it was completely worth

the money!! Our peds told us it would get better on its own but I seriously dont

think it would have turned out this great!!! We also didn't know our son didn't

have a forehead and now he does...thanks to the DOC band. Its amazing to see the

head mold of what his head looked like 3.5 almost 4 mths ago. We were unsure at

first of making this expensive decision but so glad we did, our son has a

beautiful head(yes it was beautiful before just even better now) and will be

able to fit in hats, helmets etc in the future!!
