post op advice about caffiene

Hey guys,

I noticed someone talking about caffiene and reflux. If you

remember in your packet you are not to have caffiene. I went off

of all caffiene about a month before the surgery . Some people

had terrible headaches after the surgery and they related it to the

caffiene withdrawl. You may want to consider giving it up at least

1 week to 2 weeks before surgery. I had a headache for a whole

week when I went off of it pre op. You have enough adjustments

without having caffiene headaches. I am 5 weeks post op today

and doing well. I have lost 34lbs. It is slowing down some

already. But it is headed in the right direction.
