Guest guest
Debbie, If your son doesn't have yeast problems then Kirkman enzymes would be fine. However, my dd has been on SCd for 20 months has tried the Kirkman enzymes and she got yeasty. We are starting enzymes again as well but, i have opted to choose the Houston's brand instead. The Houston's brand has Rice bran oil as the filler. The difference in them is that the filler in Kirkman's brand is cellulose and isn't easily digestible so, it can feed it. So, coming from our experience, we choose Houston's for right now. Let me know offlist if you want to try the Kirkman's enzymes and I will make some kind of deal with you for some. Jenn & K SCD 20 months enzymes? My 5 year-old son has been on SCD for 14 months but still can't digest fruits and vegetables. I think I want to try enzymes with him--phenol in particular. Which is better: No Fenol or Kirkman's Phenol assist? Does anyone have advice regarding this whole process? Thank you! Debbie
Guest guest
Hi Jenn, I didn't see your e-mail until after I had already ordered the Kirkman products. On their website it says that the product may promote yeast die-off--so I'm a little confused (for a change:). Anyway, I don't think that he has any yeast issues, but you never know. Do you have any advice regarding using the enzymes? This is new territory for me. Thanks, Debbie > > Debbie, > If your son doesn't have yeast problems then Kirkman enzymes would be fine.
