Guest guest
Val, Sounds like reflux to me. My son w/o CF had reflux and he outgrew it by the time he was 9 months old. My daughter w/CF had reflux and they did a Nissen on her, but she still takes her reflux meds. I would tell Torin's doc that he is vomiting after a meal. If it continues, and is untreated, it can lead to more serious problems. I hope that he gets better!!! Congrats on the eggs, glad you were able to find something that he likes!!! Guest guest
Most likely; My adult kid wcf and I take Aciphex--does wonders--but that is just us--it is one of the proton pumps, but a lot safer than Prilosed or Pro tonix. Just typing out loud again, n Cooking adventures... hi all one more time thanks for the cooking tips. Today I tried some egg w/ heavy cream to torin...he liked it...ate more than 1/2 of it. I didn't want to give so much though... He is doing fine...but I guess he still has reflux...the GI doctor stopped his zantac some months ago...she said that the dose he was taking was not enough to him and since he was not having reflux anymone prolly he was over it already....but he has been spitting a lot....every every meal he does it at least once, even one hour or more after he eats. He is already one year old and I believe the normal is not to do it so much anymore...Do u think That it is reflux?? love val mum to torin w/cf and who loved his egg today ------------------------------------------- The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
Hi Val, it does sound like reflux. That is what used to do when we tried to take her off of the zantac. She still takes it even though she had the surgery for reflux........ Cooking adventures... hi all one more time thanks for the cooking tips.
