Guest guest
Dear Squeek: When I first developed overt symptoms I had severe pain in my right temple along with the classical RP left ear problem. The doctors down at the Tahoe where I was living at the time really didn't know what was wrong, but thought it might be temporal arteritis and something else? I went up to my old doctor in Seattle at Virginia Mason and he told me that I had RP and if I also had temporal arteritis the treatment was the same for both. He put me back on 60 mg pred immediately and set me up with an ophthalmalogist at VM. The ophthalmalogist saw no evidence of TA. But that is not easy to diagnose either. Since then I get temporal pain once in a while but only briefly. It's comforting to know that what controls one, controls the other at the same time. I would, however, go to my eye doctor and have it checked out just to make sure you know what you're dealing with. Love to you, Dagny __________________________________________________________________ The NEW Netscape 7.0 browser is now available.
