But what if it is light and doesn't float?? Is it still OK?? Deb A

Even if lighter poop sinks, if her stools are consistently light, you may want to have her liver enzymes checked and a GI work up to rule out liver or gall bladder duct obstruction, gall stones, etc. (Is this the same daughter that has been complaining of tummy pain?) Kim, Well they both were complaining of stomach aches but now my oldest is and my youngest is not. My oldest for the last two day is telling me that it hurt mostly on the left side. Any ideas??? Guest guest
I was told if it is light and sinks it is probably just because of food coloring or the food eaten (a lot of carrots will give the orange color, a lot of sweet potatoes or squash give that orange-yellowcolor.......) Guest guest
The post quoted is not mine; someone else did post the same ideas, but not me. I am aware that eating meat makes the stool darker, however. Re: Re: RE:NORMAL POOP? Guest guest
I forget who posted the original question but it had to do with floating vs. sinking. I answered about the trapped gas. I don't know why it keeps saying that it came from you though???? Maybe because we are both poopologists! Re: Re: RE:NORMAL POOP?
