they do is accept donations of computers for use by non-profit organisations

who are training the disabled in the use of computers for use of that particular

non-profit. Both people I spoke with would not give their names, but did ask my

name and my E-mail address. Should the e-mail arrive, I will forward it to

the list, and thanks again to Rosemary and to Bev.

Tell Becky B. that there is an organization call The foundation

that will DONATE computers to kids with chronic illnesses for FREE.....maybe

that

will help her to get on-line. She needs support now more than ever!

Dear n, Thanks for following up by phone. I kept getting a busy

signal. Maybe others tried as you did & found it was under construction,

Just prior to posted the name, email addy & phone number & address in Conn,

I printed out the pages.

They had a contact page on how individuals would apply. These are free to

disabled folks as well as groups. It hadn't gone under construction at

that time & Becky did see it. has also called her after Rosemary posted

it . We all are happy to see that group. Maybe there is a chance. It is a

big National Foundation, with many divisions according to the different web

site. Funny how we learn about these things.

I did spell it correctly though. It is odd, but I just copied from site. I

had to search around because I kept getting the " Byte " site...... ANYWAY,

between us all computer genius' , we found it. I hope it is fully running

tomorrow. I have gotten some of their other sites up & I bet they are going

to be revamped tomorrow--hehehe. I have printed copy of info at the office.

Several pages. The contact info , etc. If it isn't up tomorrow, I will scan

the pages for those that want it .

Thanks again to Rosemary for finding it, now we'll see if it might help

Becky.

By the way. She did get the kids back in school for tomorrow. She is a

smart gal . she told the idiot at the school , she was going to call the

newspaper & let them know how that school is " leaving some child (2 of them)

behind " ==hahaha. he said he would check . called her back & said they could

start back tomorrow & she could do the paper work in a few days....Now that

tells you how screwed up that guy was.

Anyway, they are happy to be going back to school .--so is Becky-hehe. She

will get together with from this list tomorrow --- works so ,

they will have to work out a time.
