Spunky: If they also sent a letter to Barbara she will know exactly what they

pay for. It sounds to me as though you are covered as long as it is the

mini-gastric bypass and you do not end up with an admission, That would have

to be pre-certified which the hospital takes care of and you do not have to

worry, WHEN they get the call that you are not going home in 24 hours then

they call and pre-cert. I would consider that it is paid for unless Barbara

tells you differently. Phyllis in fla

I'm working on it!! Have you gotten approval from Dr. R yet?? Are you

looking at a certain time in Dec. to have the MGB? I know Nov. is full and

it won't take long for Dec. to fill up either.. I may just have to be one of

the Jan. dancers after all. But that's OK.. as long as I get to dance!!!

I have not heard a thing yet. No email and cant get through to a person in

Durham. I know they got my packet on the 2nd because I sent it priority

certified and they had to sign for it. I asked for Dec 29 as first choice.

I wanted to wait until after christmas. The 29th is a friday and I am off

the following weekend. I dont have any vacation yet so I hope not to miss

alot of time from work. Im getting very impatient here....very hard not

to....would really love for us to get a day at the same time. When were

you looking at? I know you said something at lunch about working around

your husbands schedule.

I would like to shoot for the end of Dec. as well.. or the first of Jan. I

figure if I do a Friday then my dh can take off that Friday and Mon and we

should be pretty set. Since I am only 1 hour away I will be able to come

home.. but since i live in the middle of no where land and my dh works 45

min from here, I want him around for a few days after the surgery.. just in

case I need to go to the ER or something.
