Please help probiotic issue

Lst week I ordered probiotic from Cutom Probiotics. We have been using

SCDophilus but felt that we were reacting to it. We have used it for

about 4 months then on Thanksgiving we forgot it when we went out of

town. The whole time we were out of town we did much better. Then

when we got home we started it again and had issues. So we stopped it

again and did much better. I have been giving it off and on. When I

order the probiotic from Custom Probiotics I didn't realize that only

acidophilus was legal on this diet. I called Custom Probiotics and

they said that they would give me my money back but would not exchange

it for L acidophilus (which they do sell) because it causes

nuerological problems in children that are on the spectrum due to a

build up of lactic acid. Now I am wondering if my won was reacting to

the SCDophilus or if he was reacting to a high level of lactic acid.

Has anyone else heard of this or experienced anything like this. I now

am nervous to give him anything.

I would appreciate any advice.
