Sharyn,

Glad to hear that you are on the mend. Wow you get to go to work on the 22nd and it will be restricted. That is great that they understand and will let you get back on your two feet at your own pace. Good to hear that you aren't overdoing! That is the most important thing after a surgery. Giving yourself time to heal.

Take care and keep us posted on how you are doing!

Hey Glenda..how are you doing yourself.

Yep, since I do have a sitting job that is one of the reasons he is

letting me return back to work part time. My pain tollerance is so

dang high the PT gal just didn't know what else to do since I was

doing everything she had shown me and was having no problems. So

right now there won't be anymore PT for about a month. I'll have to

have it again as I get better and stronger, but not until the bone

has healed to the new hip. They didn't use any of that glue or

whatever, but are letting the bone grow into the new joint.

I fully beleive that one can over come or cope with major pain and

God knows I've had my share of major pain. Shoot I still hurt, but

since I can or have learned to tollerate it I can handle it much

better than some people. I find thinking of things other than pain

or keeping my mind busy has been the best way to cope with it.

hugs
