Guest guest
Carol, You had problems with the Progurt Or just the probiotic capsules? Guest guest
I tracked every detail on their website: http://www.giprohealth.com/ Everything checsk out that the Progurt Yogurt Starter powder is completely suited and of course approved for SCD. I am chemically sensitive and wonder if the prescience of a sachet to prevent clumping is what caused me to become swollen and dizzy each time I tasted yogurt made with Progurt. I did a side by side taste test with this yogurt and compared it to a batch made with a Balkan Style Astro plain cow yourt as the starter. There was no negative reaction from the second one. Explore every link about Progurt Yogurt Starter on their website. It has been thoroughly documented and if there is any fault I belive it is with my delicate immune system. Carol F. Guest guest
Do you react to gluten in the same way? My kids are celiac....the capsules (just a bit...) makes them very silly, the same thing that happens when they get a trace of gluten. The progurt makes my son crazy. They are very chemically sensitive too...but chemicals usually don't affect the mind, unless it is something really bad.(just the stomache, and mouth) When they get crazy it always seems to come back to gluten...even some gluten-free products do still have some levels of gluten in them. I think I will try the Kirkmans probiotics...as I don't think they are intolerant to the bacteria...Kirkman has no synthetic ingredients in their L. acidolohilus. Guest guest
> > Do you react to gluten in the same way? > My kids are celiac....the capsules (just a bit...) makes them very I do not use the capsules. I have been SCD for seven years so don't know how I would react to gluten. SCD is gluten free. Carol F.
