Kimber,

thanks for the advice on diuretics. I am one of those who simply has to have

them despite the risk of it causing pancreas problems. Without it, I soon feel

as it all the skin on my body will split wide open! I take 80 mg of lasix and

10 mEq of potassium every day. I never knew that lying on your right side after

taking the lasix would help! Makes sense, though, but no one ever told me about

it!

thanks for the info - even though it wasn't directed to me!

Yikes, you sound almost as bad as me. I take 120 mg of Lasix (40mgs

three times a day) and 80 mEq of potassium (one tab three times a day).

My doctor told me about the lying down on the right side and it does

seem to help more when I do that then when I forget to lay down. And

yes, many times I feel like I'm going to burst out of my skin,

particularly in my feet. And since my feet are extra sensative (the

opposite of most diabetics, which I am, but then, I've been known to

have strange reactions to things), it feels really odd. Glad it is of

some use to you.
