Guest guest
Well, I though I was impatient before. Now that I have sent my package and know that it should have been received today I can think of nothing else. If I hear back from Dr. R. in the 7-10 days that most people say it is taking that will be right at the same time I am going before the Cigna Grievance Committee. I also just realized that if I get to have surgery on Nov. 8 that I will already have a good EKG done. My doctor requested I have one done because I have so much trouble sleeping so I had it done this past Monday. The 8th of November will make exactly 30 days since it was done. I am going for a echo tomorrow. The cardiologist wants me to have the echo done. I will have the results of that back by Friday. I will still need to have my bloodwork done and I will be good to go....but then there is still the Cigna problem. I meet with them on the 19th of October. They said I will have an answer within 24 hours of the meeting. This has felt like a very long time coming. I started the process in February. I can feel myself getting so anxious. For some reason I feel like I could just jump right out of my skin, which would probably scare some people. Oh gosh, another realization, this also means I only have 8 days before I go before the Grievance committee!!! The 8 DAYS just clicked. Okay, sorry I'm ranting, just one of those days. Guess I'll go for now until I can make a little more sense. Bonded by our experience, strength and hope Rhonda from Indiana

Guest guest
Good Luck Rhonda, I have been waiting since February too and I had Cigna. As happy as I am for our friends who are soon to be post-op, I selfishly wish it was us long term pre-op's putting on our dancing shoes. I lost to Cigna on appeal, but am changing insurance so I will be able to go in January. , Denver, NC BMI 60 > Well, I though I was impatient before.
