Guest guest
Barb, I used to drink diet coke all the time. Notice I said used to. It is nasty stuff! I quit drinking it because my neurologist told me to stop drinking it. He was a diabetic and said he wouldn't touch the stuff. He said not to drink or eat anything with aspartame in it. I was having awful migraine head aches. My last one that I had was a real whopper. I thought I was having a stroke. Went numb on my whole right side. Speech slurred the whole nine yards. Scared me to death. I was at work so it really scared me. I immediately quit the diet stuff. Since that time I have only had one other migraine but it was just a little one. I don't know if it is true about the aspartame but I would rather not find out. ) Thanks for sharing this with us. I would not use anything with artificial sweeteners. Sandy al-Barb about aspartane Barb, I used to drink diet coke all the time. Notice I said used to. It is nasty stuff! Guest guest
Hello Everybody! My mom has RP and a severe diabetes, her doctor asked her to cook some of her fruit such as strawberry to eliminate sugar. She eats no sugar but she sweetenes her cereal with equal. I have been reading all kind of scarry things regarding aspartame. Does anybody know if there is a non sugar sweetener that does not contain aspartame? Thank you for your help. I will keep you all in my prayers. Re: Fw: Medical-Barb about aspartane Glenda, My was having severe migraines and we found out it was caused by Splenda, another artificial sweetener.
