Guest guest
Hello Inga. My name is Becky and I'm on the MGB egroup. I wanted to send you my prayer request. My mother (Shelly in Jax FL) is on her way tonight to go to clinic. She was going to have her surgery on Friday, however, she was in so much pain today (she has fluid in her heart, im not sure what its called) that she had to take her medicine. Dr. R said she would have to reschedule now that she has taken the medicine. The problem is that when she stops the meds again the pain will return and I fear that something far worse than just pain will happen. I think that this surgery is essential for my mother to live. I've prayed for her so much, but as I was reading emails, someone put down a bible verse that I had forgotten about. 18:19-20 " Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them. " I don't want anyone to pray for my mother to be pain free and not take her meds and to be able to have this surgery. I ask that everyone pray for, God's will, for her. If He wants her to have this surgery then she will have it. I'm going to send this not only to you, Inga, but I'm going to post it on the egroups page, so that anyone that isn't part of the prayer group, if they feel inclined, will pray for my mother. Thanks in Advance, Becky (Tallahassee, Florida) _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. Guest guest
Sometimes it's hard to pray God's will but my husband brought a good point to me today. He said he didn't think God would put something on your heart and not give you the means to accomplish it. What we were talking about was not MGB although I am planning to have it as soon as I can get approved. What we were praying about is going through an international adoption to adopt a little girl from China. It's very expensive. We will see. Back to your situation, I will pray with you believing that God will make a way. God Bless! Tired of Being Obese in Ohio > Hello Inga. My name is Becky and I'm on the MGB egroup.
