Guest guest
, Can you email me off list about the Vit K protocall. I'm planning to start it with my son as soon as it arrives. I'm visually impaired, and the yahoo group sites aren't very friendly for my screen reader. So, I can't peruse the files. I want to make sure that I'm aware of anything that I might need to know...that wasn't in your research paper...as well as making sure I give the proper amount of Vit K, A, and D. Thanks for any time you can spare me. rmcorner@... Meleah SCD 05/06 iel 3.5yrs. ASD, Ethan 5yrs., Mark 20mths., both NT Re: How to make Ghee from Goat Milk Making ghee is very easy. You just melt the butter, and then continue to leave it on the burner (low heat) for a few more minutes. The proteins will separate from the fat, and the additional heating causes the proteins to coagulate and clump at the bottom of the pan. Then you pour off the fat leaving the proteins behind. Commercial cow ghee is a bit clearer, probably because it is centrifuged to get every bit of the protein out. > Ghee is not made from goat yogurt. Ghee is made from butter. It is basically clarified butter. > > I don't know if you can find goat butter.... and I honestly have not personally ever made it. I'm sure someone here has the instructions, though you can also purchase ghee.... perhaps goat ghee, as well as cow ghee, in specialty markets. > > Patti
