frustrated and tired of this

Okay, I'm not having a good day at all! The pain is being a pain!

Ive taken pain medication because the hurting is on the edge of

intense. I'm going to lay down, but needed to vent...as this really

ticks me off. I can't seem to get my house cleaned, my yard work

done. My poor dogs (which are I sometimes refer to as " the boys " )

haven't gotten to go for a walk in several weeks. I think they are

as tired of this crap as I am. Today, I did manage to clean two

bathtubs, do some measuring outside for a fence, a little dusting,

sat at the computer looking up information on pancreatitis, liver

conditions, alternative food products, and walked around outside for

about 15 minutes visiting with a friend. And now I'm gonna have to

go lay down till the pain subsides enough for me to be able to just

do my laundry, and maybe be able to go to the store to just buy a

few necessities.

It just doesn't seem logical to me that this should keep happening.

The only reason I had pancreatitis 4 years ago was because a

gallstone got stuck in the pancreas. They took the gallbladder

out. I didn't have pancreatitis again until last year, when I ended

up in the hospital 4 times and at home in bed several times. Then

it seemed to subside at the beginning of this year, and in the past

6 months seems flare ups have become more frequent. I use pain &

nauseau meds when I absolutely have to, as I still have to go to

work and try to function as much as possible. This past month has

been the worst. It seems most of the time I have the mild, nuisance

pain, with short episodes of extreme pain. On the weekends I

usually don't get to do the many things I want & need to because I'm

having to rest, etc. Last Nov the gastro doc did go ahead and do

the spincterotomy on me to make the passed wider, but he said there

was no evidence of any damage being done to the pancreas. I realize

that was last November, but can that much actually happen in 11 mos?

I just hate it cause I really had plans to get some serious cleaning

and organizing done around this house this weekend, and it just

hasn't worked out at all.

Okay, I'll be quiet now, just really needed to be able to say in a

way that might not be so sweet that I am sick of this stuff.

I just have a question since I'm really new at this, I have a cold right now

and my throat is bothering me, does anyone else get more pain when they are

getting or have a cold, cause right now and last night it has been in my back

more than usual and after I got out of work today all I wanted to do is sleep

and I can't even lay down it hurts too much. So just wondering if it could be

connected anyway, I guess I am just hoping its from that cause I am going to get

pre-op blood work tomorrow and I have been trying really hard to keep it

down.
