Those with RP get pneumonia very easily and go from flu to pneumonia in a blink. I used to get pneumonia on a regular basis before I was diagnosed with RP and went into respiratory arrest once. Since the diagnosis I've gotten a flu shot every year and do much better lung-wise. Take care of your lungs, my friends. Pneumonia causes the most fatalities in RP.
