Hi Friends,

I finally got a hold of Barbara on tuesday morn at 8am. ( I held for 15

minutes long distance) I was approved on Friday last week. E-mailed her then

and again onSat requesting the 8th. She was out sick on Monday. I finally

made contact on tues. The 8th was all booked up. She said if I wanted I

could do the 9th. I said ok. So I have a Nov 9th date. Now I have to get the

$$$$$$$ " " SHOW ME THE MONEY " !!!.

] Any more 9th mates out there.? I will be in clinic on the 7th at 1pm. It

will be so nice to meet some of you.

QUESTIONS? 1. Have any of you new post-ops had to take the test before

surgery? The one which you describe the different wls.?

2. After 6 months what is the normal amount of food you can

eat at one sitting. If you went to dinner at a restaurant, would you really

be able to order a dinner or just eat off your kids plate. This question is

from my children. They are afraid I will never take them out to dinner if I

can't eat myself! :>)

OBSERVATION: I have missed several days and played catch-up today. Re:

past post, other bashing sites, DR. R etc. Could I remind each of us that

this is a very important and very emotional time in all our lives. Not one of

us can say that it isn't. Were are here to support and listen, not to atttack

and degrade one another. It is not our place to be each others psycologist,

unless you are a trained professional. I am not talking about encouragement

and sharing your OWN experiences, I am talking about judgement and hurting

each other. We really only know about each other what we have chosen to

reveal to one another on this site. Non of you really know me or what I

really am in my heart of hearts. We search and try to educate ourselves as

best we can because we are at the end of our ropes. Now ........People at the

end of their ropes are many times quiet emotional. ( Myself included). Lets

just give each other a break and try to see the best while trying to filter

fact from fiction. This is the longest post I have ever written, I felt I

should share at this particular time. Wishing everyone peace.

You are so right, Debbie, and congrats on your date, glad you finally got thru,

I can't wait til I can type mgb/(and then a date!!!)

Maybe I'll be down with you, I'm hoping for sooner, but who knows.
