Guest guest
Hi I haven't posted in a couple of weeks was in the hospital with a sudden fever that wouldn't go down then dehydration. It went down after two days in the hospital and several strong IV antibiotics but most important prayers God answered! and he got better The doctors still are not sure what caused the sudden fever My question did any one get a second or third opinion regarding your RP from Mayo or Cleveland or Where? If you did are you happy with the results from which clinic? We are thinkning about going and I wanted to see what you guys have experienced with the other major places which doctors, etc I just want to make sure I am getting the best care for my son He has been on Meth for three weeks and now we have his Pred to 30mg most days/ he is stillin pain.....spine, tail bone throat, headache , neck his rib flare jsut subsided I feel sometimes his rheumy doesn't think his RP is very 'bad' does that make sense to any of you ? Do your doctors treat you that way? is not doing anything we have to make hm walk 10 minutes per day and that tires him out..but his Rheumy says I do not see a flare decrease the Pred to 20! from 30 to 20 would get him he can't handle large drops the other doc internal med said do not start to drop it until he has been on the Meth for at least one month...They do not agree on things obviously! puts us in the middle he is on Meth 20 mg by injection weekly Thank you to you all ! I do not feel so all alone anymore! Phyllis ( 's Mom)
