I get to begin Medicare in July, so i am a few months ahead of you.

Still trying to figure out how it will interface with Tricare/Champus

(which we carry b/c hubby is retired from USN).

Thanks for your support, Cyndi. You'll have to fill me in offline about all the

Medicare stuff, okay? We're just so relieved about the medical insurance

thing, it's just such a load off Bob's shoulders. He's been so morose,

worrying about this, not knowing how he could provide for me.

You can coach me as we go, since you're a few months ahead of me. I'm

still waiting for all the instructions, and notification about the payments,

etc.

I'm so glad that you've been awarded SSDI benefits. I know it's been a

long hard wait for you and you were worried about it. Just thought I'd

say' Yeah " for you and that you didn't have to go through the actual

hearing.
