Guest guest
Hi Jenn, It can be harsh on the gut. Peppermint tea is legal though. If this is for a cold you can make ginger tea with a little cut up ginger root. After steeping it with hot water for a few minutes, strain out the ginger and add honey or saccharine to taste. Guest guest
Hi! Here's a bit of info. for you. Chamomile also relaxs the body. I'm thinking that in light of loose bms etc. I'll pass on that part. And depending on which type of Chamomile flower that was used, it can be very strong. Here's a quote from botanical.com regarding common Chamomile. 'The powerful alkali contained to so much greater extent in the single flowers is, however, liable to destroy the coating of the stomach and bowels, and it is doubtless for this reason that the British Pharmacopceia directs that the 'official' dried Chamomile flowers shall be those of the double, cultivated variety.' A person with a healthy gut doesn't want to use it on a daily basis for the same reason. Unless you made it yourself to know how much and which kind of flower was used. Happy day to all.
