health plans

In the funnies today in the SF Chronicle, in the strip called " Bizarro, "

the job applicant asks the employer whether they have a health plan.

The reply gotten is that yes, they do, that the employer plans on the

employee's being in good health.

This would be mildly entertaining, were it not all too true!

And Insurance companies and drug companies are making it very

hard on small businesses to afford anything for the employee--the

burden should be more broadly shared, in my view.

However, humor is humor, and this was!
