Hi ,

I hope that this webpage would be helpful:

Some children can tolerate honey at the beginning of the diet but

others cannot. Observe your child carefully.

You only do intro for two days.... unless diarrhea is really severe, then you'd

do it for a max of five days.

Epsom salts baths will help him feel better, too.

Yes, you can use pear sauce, applesauce and honey as a beginner.

When to start Stage 1

Hello All,

Please, can someone tell me when my son is ready to move to Stage 1. Today is

his second day on the Intro Diet. He is definitely having die off symptoms...the

runny nose, not feeling well, moody, irritable etc. I gave him 2 activated

charcoals and it got better. Now he seems a little aggressive but in a good

mood. His stools are coming often are well formed and very small. Also, at stage

1 foods can I sweeten the pear sauce and apple sauce with honey? And what are

salicyates. How would I know if my son is sensitive to them. I appreciate your

help and thank you.
