Guest guest
Hi Shelby, I also had a heck of a time trying to get that online form done. I kept getting kicked off by my telephone ringing. I finally decided to call forward my call to my cell phone!!! It worked and I got It through. Yesterday a computer wiz friend of mine said my computer had a place to void the call waiting so it would not knock you off. Well that went over my head!!!!!LOL. But if you know more than I do ( which isn't hard) You can figure it out. Hope that helps. Debbie Colorado mgb11-09-00 Yeah
Guest guest
Hi Debbie, Thank you for taking the time to answer my note. The problem isn't the phone ringing, I have a dedicated phone line to my computer. It decides to shut down after a while. A message comes on that says You have been idle do you wish to shut down. Y or N. Well, it will only do that 1 time then in about 5 minutes, it's gone. Oh well, maybe I'll call CompuServe today when I get home from work. Thanks again, Shelby
Guest guest
Hi Shelby, Here are a few tricks that some of us found helpful. First of all sign up for that program that allows you to stay online longer....I don't remember the name but Dr. R has it on his website and it doesn't cost anything. While you are filling out the form check your e-mail about every 5 minutes...this will let your computer know that you are not idle. Do not fill out the sleep apnea form until you have sent the big form. Do not enter your social security number until the very last......this will prevent you from sending an incomplete form if you accidentally hit enter instead of tab. Cut and paste your descriptions but do not make them lengthy. Keep them down to one or two short paragraphs......mine were too lengthy and they crashed Dr.R's computer. Once you start filling out the form do not walk away from it or you will lose it. Hope this helps. Guest guest
If you are going to be kind enough to send a card to Shelby then is may be better to send it to her home address although a card in the hospital is nice. However she should be home by at least 22nd February so it depends on how long it takes to get here to the U.K. Parcels from her godfather in Canada usually take months. Letters and cards are quicker but can still take weeks if not sent airmail. Thank you for your responses.
