Guest guest
I was put on Paxil when menopause hit. Now I wonder.... One thing I need to try and do is to remind anyone going in the hospital for our types, or any, surgery is to check that the hospital has their medications in liquid form. UofIC did not have Paxil or Prempro in injectable form so I had none. Got charged for it though. By day three I had morphine side effects and withdrawals from both the Paxil and the Prempro. I don't have to imagine how a totally insane person thinks as I have been there. Not a place I wish to visit, never mind live. My recover was hampered terribly as I was trying to get back on the Paxil and Prempro. Paxil is horribly malevolent to ease in to. Once it is stabilized, it works wonders for depression. So, always check that the hospital isn't going to add to your suffering by not providing what you need. An interruption in your normal medications can really make things horrible. If you are in having surgery, you don't need anymore suffering. Carol
