Guest guest
This is really good news! Congratulations to ! Love, n Rojas Wish Granted hey all, Well we got a call this morning from our Make a Wish people. She said that 's wish has been granted! Her wish is to go on a mediterranean cruise. The one she had picked out was for 12 days and we were told that the policy is no longer than 10 days out of the country. But we submitted it and it was approved for the 12 days. The cruise departs Barcelona on the 25th of July. Ports of call include Cannes, Pisa, Rome, Naples, Venice ( 2 days ), Dubrovnic and Corfu( Greece). is really excited! The part she is most excited about is that a limo is going to pick us up and take us to the airport! I am so excited for her! It took her a long time to decide on what she wanted. I do have the fear that somewhere in the future she is going to say " gosh I should have wished for something different " . She tried to make a list of things she would like to have..shopping spree, big screen tv, guitar lessons...but I told her that those were all things that we could give her. This is a trip of a lifetime, one she will NEVER forget! To those who are having a difficult time, or have had a bad experience with MAW, this post is not intended to sound bragadocious (great word) or insensitive. I really do hope for the best for everyone. To Mother n, your warnings regarding cruises has been noted, and I promise we will be careful of food poisoining and other contaminants We have consulted with our Dr. and he said " go for it and have a great time " ! Woohoo!!! e, wife to Damon, Mom to , 10 wcf and Ian 13 nocf ( but will be really lucky to see his next birthday....sigh, teenagers!) ------------------------------------------- The opinions and information exchanged on this list should IN NO WAY be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
e, That sounds like a great wish! My father in law and his wife took us on a 6 day cruise a few years ago and it was wonderful. loved it and still talks about it. She wasn't to go again someday. We had no problems with getting sick or anything. I hope it is as fun as it sounds! mom of 5 with CF Wish Granted hey all, Well we got a call this morning from our Make a Wish people.
