Guest guest
Dear Kim, I had a very hard time obtaining disability. I filed for it 5 years ago, and was turned down. Same with the appeal. Finally, last year I hired an attorney, but still the process was long...I am thankful to say, we won the case and I am now collecting $1225 a month and have Medicare. The key to obtaining disability, is collecting all of your own medical records...although it's tedious, it does save alot of time. I too love to work and it's very depressing being able not to...my body just can't handle it. I'm sure you'll get alot of feedback from the other members in the group. /NJ > > My doc has mentioned me possibly going on disability because of my > inability to work and I was wondering if any of you are currently on > disability and how hard is it to begin.
