Guest guest
The volunteer position of Birthday Coordinator is available. PAI members are encouraged to register their birthdays at Birthday Alarm.com. This online service then sends out an alert to the coordinator when one of the PAI member's birthday is coming up. The Birthday Coordinator then acts on behalf of the PAI to acknowledge their birthday, send a card, online greeting, etc. If you are interested in knowing more about this position, please let me know by contacting me directly. Our birthdays are very special days. We feel good when they are acknowledged. We are all special and deserve it. The relationships in the PAI quickly become special. This is a way that we can nurture those relationships. This lets us know we are not alone and that someone believes in and cares about us. So often, we are acknowledged only as the 'Pancreatitis Patient' , having someone celebrate who we are as an individual, as a child of God, takes on even greater importance. If you are not familiar with the PAI Birthday Celebration or have not registered your own birthday at Birthday Alarm.com please visit: birthdayalarm.com or http://www.birthdayalarm.com/dob.jsp?MemberId=21585624 & ChecksumNbr=493287711 & MID=970 This link will open up to a page that simply requests you to enter your birthday. The year is optional, but I encourage you to enter that, also. It is a statement of our survival. Again, if you are interested in knowing more about the position of PAI Birthday Coordinator, please let me know. Karyn E. , RN, Exec.
