Guest guest
can someone tell me, what is the correct temperature of the water inside the yogurt maker should be? I have both a yogourmet and a salton. Also, I was told by the salesperson of the yogourmet to cool the milk to 90 degrees and then add the starter. I read Elaines' instructions that say 77 degrees. My thermometer doesn't even go that low but I can take a guess. Which temp is correct? The only available space (and I mean that sincerely, very cramped apartment) to put the yogurt maker for 24 hours is fairly close to the window. I usually cover the machine with a kitchen towel to keep the drafts off of it. Do you think this makes it too hot?
