Guest guest
Hi, I was wondering if there is a specific receipe for pearsauce, or do you follow the same receipe for applesauce, only substituting pears? Patti G.
Guest guest
Here's the way I do it - VERY EASY! I peel & core the pears, put them in my steamer and steam them for about 20 minutes. Let them cool, puree them in the food processor, and WA-LA you have pearsauce. The extra freezes well if you want to do big batches. mom to Austin, 3 yrs old, SCD 18 mo. Guest guest
I just wanted to add something to this.... when you use 's method, after steaming the pears, be sure to save the water that's in the bottom of the pan.... it will be very SWEET.
