Guest guest
" I tell my teenagers all the time that if they drink they may end up like me with CP. " I " accidentally " left a picture of my incision with 147 staples and two nasty tubes hanging out of my gut on the palm pilot. The boys saw it and freaked. My answer was, " Have a drink guys! " If it helps stop one of the three from destroying themselves with an ill spent youth like me, it will be a good thing. Carol
Guest guest
Hi , I think you will find that many of us have gone through parts of what you've gone through, but certainly not all of it. It was quite an accomplishment just to survive. I was in a coma for 12 days, just short of getting a tracheotomy and also had to relearn how to walk (a painful experience in itself). My Pancreatitis was from gallstones. I also had lots of mystery infections. Got does with just about every antibiotic imaginable and got hives all over to go with my 106 degree fever. I was just talking to somebody about TPN today. Yummy! I don't miss it one bit. , don't let anybody tell you that the cause of your illness was drinking if it isn't so. There are many causes of Pancreatitis. Alcohol is the number one cause, but that doesn't make it so for you! -stan
