Guest guest
Dear Terri, Paper will hold still - anyone can write anything they want. While her perception is that she had a poor outcome, and there are others who did not have the expected outcome they desired, they are a small percentage of his total overall patient outcomes. The best thing to do is contact all post ops you can. Get their first hand impressions. Make your own decision based on their perceptions and all your research. Don't be scared by one person. Guest guest
Hi Terri- This stuff from LT can give you doubts, and second thoughts. My sister had an MGB on 9/6/00, and she's doing great...has lost 60 lbs. But all this stuff raises so many concerns... On the other hand, I work as an orthopedic nurse, and the group of physicians we work with has referred patients for this very came procedure by this very same physician. Also, a lady at my church told me her physician is referring her for the surgery...so it's NOT that Dr. Rutledge is on some kind of 'mad-scientist surgical rage', other physicians, esp. orthopedic surgeons, also see the benefit of getting some of this weight off these folks so, at the very least, their joints may be saved.
