Are all of you that take 6-8 tablets per meal on Medicare or health

insurance plans?

I ask because the 1, tablet of Creon or Liprase, 3x daily cost

$10.00 for 90 & when I'm on Medicare or no plan they will cost

$110.00 per 90!!! Are u guys ordering from Canada or what? That's

why I switched to Vitaline,( a nutritional co. that makes pancreatic

enzymes & not cheap, but cheaper definitely) years ago, before I had

insurance, cause

Viokase with whatever, 4-5 tablets, would have cost me approx.

$2,000.00 per year, which is outrageous! So may I hear from some of

you that don't have ins. policies? I am trying to stay on the pres.

part only, when my Medicare kicks in this November, but if not,

between that & the pain meds....well I won't even consider

that.....please lets talk money.....thanking in advance,

,

I currently have an insurance plan and will have it for another couple

of years, plue medicare starting in January. I'll have to check my

receipt next time because all our receipts reflect the actual cost of

the medication and the cost we pay and how much we saved. I think my

1200 tablets a month cost about $300, but I may be off and thinking

about a different medication, so I'll check my next receipt. I'm due to

refill mine in a few days anyways.
