I also used depo provera for about a year. It was

just awful. It made me depressed, I gained about 40

pounds and it took away my sex drive. Later I found

out that it is the same drug used on male sex

offenders to take away their sex drives. And does it

ever work!! I was not told any of this ahead of time

and it sounded so convenient. I also read where it is

linked with a higher incidence of uterine cancer.

I would never recommend it - except to sex offenders!!
