Guest guest
Wow, that sounds delicious! I didn't realize peas were legal. (I was on the Southbeach Diet before starting SCD and there are a lot of similarities, so I had just assumed that peas weren't legal on SCD since they aren't allowed on Southbeach.) I'm so excited to be able to add another legal vegetable choice!! How many servings is this? Have you ever made a huge batch and frozen individual servings? Thanks again for the recipe! Guest guest
Keep in mind that SCD is NOT a low-carb diet, like Southbeach. Guest guest
Thanks Patti, I realize that. It's just that so many of the illegal veggies were the same between the two diets (corn, potatoes, etc) that I didn't even realize peas were OK. When I started the SCD, I was just going to give it a 30 day trial to see if I felt better, but I was worried that I would also start gaining weight after losing so much on Southbeach. I had planned to go back to SouthBeach if this diet didn't make me feel a lot better. It was hard for me to get used to the idea of using honey since that was illegal on the other diet. Amazingly, I have continued to lose weight on SCD and even broke through a barrier I never could seem to get below on Southbeach. I think that getting diagnosed with a dairy allergy right after Christmas and giving up the dairy was a big help. Anyway, I love peas and am really looking forward to adding them back as a vegetable option now that I'm doing SCD full-force and no longer worried about putting all the weight back on. Thanks again! > > Keep in mind that SCD is NOT a low-carb diet, like Southbeach.

I did it b/c I had a bad cold and could not go shopping so needed to use what I hda on hand. I always " Google " anything I think might be good and adapt it to be SCD legal. Carol F.
