Guest guest
, You're right.... but it's just such a vital step to read the book, to understand the science behind it. It will be a great resource as you continue, too.... but yes, the website, and this group, are essential parts, too. Patti book vs. website The book arrived and I read it. I am confused why there is so much emphasis on the book -- it seems that there is much more info on the website. Couldn't a person fail if they only followed the guidelines in BTVC, since it is not stressed how slowly you should introduce the foods and how small the dose should be? - --------------------------------- Recent Activity a.. 21New Members Visit Your Group

It incudes history, science and recipes but for you at this point, I recommend chapters 9 and 10 on introducing the diet. The Pecanbread website repeats and attempts to break down and simplify the ASD interpretation of the diet. Peraonally I really like the recipes in the BTVC book. They look deceptively simple but are rich and tasty because the ingredients are so pure. I have the 10th edition and Chapters 9 and 10 are the heart and soul of valuable information.
