Guest guest
Hi and others, I've just come back from seeing Sue. She's in excellent spirits and so glad that the adhesions have been sorted. The test which revealed the blockages was a barium meal and follow-through. They only realised that the main one was actually a knot in the bowel when they operated. Thank God they did. She had a CT scan in July which showed nothing. She thinks she'll be in hospital for another week or so. She's still having oxygen to help breathing and is still on a low dose from the pain-management pump. She's started to eat a very light diet to-day but is having mainly what I think is called " Enlive " . She's able to walk about a little more each day, I think. I do hope things go well for you. I'll be in touch when I get back from Spain at the weekend. As you probably know, my husband will then be having a cystoscopy and scan to assess the extent of his prostate cancer. We hope it will be very early and treatable as so many are. Time will tell. Please keep us in your thoughts. Take care, Fliss (UK)
