Definitely give it to him every day. How much are you giving him in each dose

of folinic? It is really important to give them ahdn in hand. Also if you

don't give the folinic, you may notice irritability, hyperactivity, ect. We

always see that if we forget.

Re: methyl B12

We give our son MB12 shots every 3 days. Would I need to give him the

folinic acid only on the day we give him the shot or every day?

you decide to do the MB12. They really do go hand in hand. If you see

any signs of hyperactivity, then he will need more folinic acid. Our

DAN had us start with 1600mg. folinic, but he was just wired from the

B12...waking up at 4-5am for the day, taking a while to fall asleep,

ect. She had us stop the B12 for a week, and increase the folinic by

800mg. Then, we reintroduced the B12, and had no problems. Kirkman's

folinic acid is SCD legal.
