Guest guest
Katy, Yes, we have to monitor his blood sugar quite often due to his Fatty Oxidation Disorder. I checked him and found it to be in the normal range. So, not sure where the problem lies. He's not been as bad today, although, he's not ate as much today. I would think he's ate pretty normally, or I should say, like a normal child. Am I reading into things to soon, or is he really getting the effects this soon? He has done really well with not wanting to eat so often today. Krystena Ricards Re: frequent urination and enzymes? Frequent urination is also a symptom of diabetes. Has he ever been tested? Guest guest
Have you thought about taking him to his doc and asking for a Hemoglobin A1C? The test can tell you his blood sugars for (I think) the past 3 months. Due to variances with monitors, it is sometimes hard to say if it is high or low. I know with my husband (who is Type 1) there have been times that he is out of it, and when I check his blood sugar, our monitor sys its like 50. When in fact it was more like 15!!! I hope that you can find out what is causing his problems, but he could also have a small bladder.
