Guest guest
Chrissy, I don't know what to say other than to tell you that you have my shoulder to cry on. But, try not to think the worse yet. Maybe it is a matter of a question not completely answered....or a misunderstanding between the insurance doctor and the hospital nurses that file the paper work. I bet it will be cleared up once you get a doctor to doctor discussion about this. I will keep you in my prayers - both that you will be able to not worry and that it will be cleared up soon. Keep optimistic - don't let this bring you down. They don't deserve your tears! Laurie

I'm going to worry about this all weekend. The young lady on the phone sounded very optomistic that things could be straghtened out. Like I really need something else to worry about right now. How are you feeling today? Are you going to have a little ghosts and goblins running amuck in your house? I only have my youngest trick-or-treating this year. However, Alison, my eldest came home with her holloween costume last night and modeled it for me. Hula dancer, complete with co-co nut bra; yup; here's the hard part, she is a brick house, and gorgeous. Competitve gymnast for 12 years, But I trust her 1000%; its the other people out there I dont. Wish I could get her to understand that; especially in regard to her curfue. She's a good kid; thats what makes it so hard. Anyway, rambling on and on; sorry about that. Geeze loweese this is just going to ruin my weekend. Hop eyou have a good one and are feeling well. Love, Chrissy
Guest guest
Chrissy, How many mgs of Zofran do you take everyday ? I happen to have some on hand that I do not use,,,, getting close to expiration date. Wait till MOnday to see what the insurance company works out. Just call your CM and be sure that she initiates the call between the docs. But with your inside oull will do it. He will be in town, don;t worry. I feel it in my bones, your good to go ! let me know about the Zofran, Hugs your way, Lily I am so upset I get home this afternoon to a frantic message fromthe nurse in Cincy, Debbie. She tells me that my ins. co has denied my surgery. I cant believe this. I called the co. and they said there was an insufficient history to warrent such a procedure. Of course I find all this out at 4:30 on a friday. They said their doc needed to talk with my doc and have assigned a case manager to my case. This totally blows!! I am so upset. I told Debbie not to cancel a thing, I would pay for the surgery out of pocket if I had to. So now I have sent messages to to please try to talk with them on Monday; the way my luck has been; he's probably out of town. I am so upset and cant stop crying. I have never had insurance problems before and now all of the sudden; this. I guess they would rather pay for $100 worth of zofran I take a day along with all the other meds, so stupid. I am so upset. Chrissy
Guest guest
Chrissy, Why is it that things like this always come up on Friday afternoon when there is not a thing you can do until Monday? I hate that this has happened. I know it's easier said than done but try to just not let yourself even think about this over the weekend. Of course, with the added stress you may end up in the hospital with a flare up of pancreatitis! You are in my prayers for this to be quickly resolved next week. take care, W ------------------------------------------------- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by PCLNET, and is believed to be clean. Guest guest
Chrissy, Hang tough with your daughter. It is most likely because you have enforced the rules, curfew, etc. that she is a good kid. Nikki has thanked me many times for the times that I 'ruined her life' when she was a teen. She and I both agree that giving a kid more freedom than they are ready for is positively dangerous. However, giving them a little less freedom than they may be ready to handle will almost never hurt them in the long run. Try to tell that to a 16 year old who things they should be allowed to stay out til all hours! take care, ------------------------------------------------- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by PCLNET, and is believed to be clean.
