Hi, Amy:

Don't despair. Your surgery time will come up sooner than you think. Good

for you for having the stamina to start over again.

I sometimes wonder if some of us morbidly obese share this same impulsive " I

need the fix NOW " frame of mind. That describes me to a " T " with everything

in life, practically. Food, weight loss surgery, people, etc. etc. - I had

to have what I wanted WHEN I wanted it - and it was at that very instant! I

was on the edge of my seat for months, knowing that the solution was at hand,

and how could this skinny little surgeon hold me back???? (sorry, Dr. R.)

This surgery is a tool that helps slow down that kind of impulsiveness.

Believe me: you'll get a real unpleasant side effect with impulsive eating

after the surgery! This is the ultimate in behavior modification.

Preops, please let us postops what kind of help you need with your patient

packets. That's why we're all here.

xoxo

Blair
