Guest guest
I confess I have not seen the ie episode. From what I gather from your posts, it was very bad. I was so excited when I first read that someone with cf would be on that show. I had hoped the person would be more like Pedro. Pedro was on the show several years ago. He was an HIV positive Aids Activist. He was sweet, charming, and optimistic. He was happy to educate his housemates about his disease. When a housemate became disrespectful to him and his disease he was asked to leave the show. He died shortly after the show ended and left a legacy as classy gentlemen. I wished ie would have lined up her meds along the kitchen counter for the world to see. I hoped she it would show her doing breathing treatments, teaching the housemates how to do cpt, demand no one smoke in the house, and have frank and informative conversations about cf. It is so easy for me to sit at home and say " shame on you " . CF is not my disease. It is my son's. I am the outsider looking in. But I do wish the producers of the show had chosen a person who could have been an activist for cf, but perhaps no one else applied who had cf. However, this show often presents a caricature of each person at the beginning of each season. Maybe by the last episode we will see an older, wiser, poised, and graceful person with cf.
