--Allie met Seb at UDel. and upon graduation, she came to our

area and lived with us until she could find an apt. Her parents

came down Labor Day last year and they all went to find an apt. for

her(which they did). The next Thurs. Allie's sister phoned at 2:30

am to say that her mom had had a massive heart attack (she was only

in her late 50s and had just retired)!!! She lived a few more days

on life support and then passed away. My heart just broke for

them!

As for the rehearsal dinner, it's going to be at a family-style

restaurant in NJ the Friday night before the wedding. So far,

there's going to be about 35 guests. My brother-in-law is coming

from Italy for the wedding. (My husband's family is Italian.) We

lived there for 6 yrs. from 1986-1992 when my boys were 4 and 6. We

loved it there, but decided to come back home and we're sure glad we

did! My CP didn't develop (thank goodness) until 1994, as I would

probably trust the doctors here! I was always very close with Seb

and we still are. I'm sure she may resent that slightly, but

hopefully will learn to live with it as well.

On the CP front, I actually pretty much HATE alcohol and would only

have a glass of sweet wine a few times a year! I'm still trying to

figure out how I got this darned disease! I was actually wondering

beause my father was an alcoholic, if that could have affected me

(he died when I was 2)! Who knows. We just have to learn to deal

with it I guess!! It's been so nice chatting with you and thanks

for all your ideas/assistance with these wedding plans!! I had a

shower a few wks. back at our house for Allie, which she seemed to

enjoy immensely.

Ciao for now
