This has nothing to do with money!!! The doctor needs to know that you know

what you are suppose to do after surgery, and if you are healthy enough to

make it through the surgery. I sent in my packet and was approved in 3 days,

got a date and had to cancel at last minute because of insurance. I started

this journey in july. I have a new date of jan 3 and I am a happy camper.

No. As far as I know, insurance is not a consideration in approving you for

surgery. If, however, you are not willing to pay for the surgery if your

insurance refuses coverage, that might cause a delay in scheduling.

Dr. R., please correct me if I'm wrong!

Best,

Nope just the same if you're a self-pay.

to get off and dance!!

Is there a difference in the amount of time it might take a " self pay " to be

approved for the surgery, as opposed to someone who has to fight w/

insurance?
