Guest guest
thanks for sharing that with us!! :>) How long did it take from start to finish? I have decided to give my depression meds some time to start working..about a month and then go for it. I don't think my pcp will support me on this until then, he want's to be sure I am thinking clearer ( makes sense to me). I am going to go ahead and FINALLY feel out my online info sheet today!! I guess I have done things really backwards..lol. I already have about 25-30 contact, my pt letter is ready to be typed, yes.. I remembered the headers and my physical is out of the way... I will need repeat blood work and EKG, maybe. I am also going to try to make it to clinic next week to see the video and talk to everyone :<) cindy gettting ready to DANCE my butt off

Guest guest
Hey Cindy, Just some helpful hints on the PI form.........Once you start filling it out, DON'T leave it....it might time out and you will lose it!!!!!! Check your e-mail about every 5 minutes so it knows you're not sitting idle. Do not use the enter key until you are ready to send the form.....use your tab key. Don't put your social security number in until the last thing because if you inadvertantly hit enter instead of tab it won't send the form. Wait until you send the PI form before you fill out and send the form on sleep apnea. Cut and paste your descriptions but make sure they are only a couple of short paragraphs long. Mine were too detailed and lengthy and they crashed Dr. R's computer. I hated that form with a passion.......but make sure it has all your necessary info because that is what Dr. R uses to send the insurance letter. MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A COPY BEFORE YOU SEND IT!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't take a copy with you to clinic you will have to fill it out all over again!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope this helps, Genz hsmotherof4@... wrote: > thanks for sharing that with us!! :>) > > How long did it take from start to finish? > > I have decided to give my depression meds some time to start working..about a > month and then go for it. Guest guest
From start to finish the process to get my MGB was from June 26th at 330pm (found out about the MGB) and had surgery on 22Sep 930am. Could have had surgery as early as 28Aug, but my MIL could not get off of work any earlier and she was my sole (also soul) supporter (in Durham at least!). There was one person that I spoke with who did the whole process in 2 weeks-she was self pay. I did not promise Dr R that I would join a gym either because the closest one is too far and too expensive. I told him about the work I wanted to do around my house and farm and also that I have miles of dirt roads to walk and a treadmill I was dusting off to use during bad weather. I mean I went into GREAT detail about ALL the stuff I would be doing post op that would involve ANY physical exertion. CONGRATS TO PHILLYJUDE. I remember that feeling-you are on your way!!!!!
