Hello My Friends,I hope you haven't forgotten me, as all of you are always on my heart and in my prayers. I've come back from no mail to digest tonight and have been reading some of the recent posts on the group site. The past 2-3 months have been difficult for me and I'm having a bit of relief tonight, so I wanted to check in.Without going into alot of detail right now, I've been suffering from both the physical and the psychological manifestations of what was confirmed RP by the "RP Specialist" at the Cleveland Clinic. However, his recommendations have not put a dent in my progressions with known and mystery symptoms, so when I was offered an appt with Dr. Michet at Mayo, I decided to take it. (He's the Dr that did the big study on RP in the mid '80s) It sounds weird, but I'm actually kind of excited about seeing him, I leave a week from Wednesday.It made me very sad to learn of Angie's passing. Even though I did not know her, to know how it effected so many of you and knowing what she had done for all of us let me understand and feel it more deeply. It also was sad for me to know she passed away on my birthday, and I just realized all the nice birthday wishes I received.I can't even explain to you where my head has been, but know my heart and all my good thoughts have been with each of you.
